“Jordana Lilly, a Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter, infuses old-school R&B with a modern pop shine.”

— Obscure Sound

Jordana Lilly was born and raised in the Silicon Valley, got her BFA in Theatre Performance from Chapman University, then made the 55 minute leap to the city of angels. Having trained as an actor, she tries not to let her inner musical theatre nerd show too much (not the vibe when you’re tryna be a cool pop star) but sometimes she can’t help but bring the DRAMA when it comes to her storytelling/vocal performance. Her musical inspirations include Eryn Allen Kane, Emily King, Jacob Collier, Julia Michaels and Jordan Rakei. A lot of her music circles around mental health themes because music stems from the subconscious and she’s a neurotic jewess with anxiety. She aspires to connect, inspire, and make people feel less alone with her music because music was the thing that made her feel less alone growing up. That and her outdoor cat. Who she sang to. So it was probably mainly the music part.

Jordana just released this sassy new pop anthem earlier this month, and the music video is officially out on VEVO! She had an epic release party/show/premiere that made her feel #full and #famous. The music video was directed by Alex Hausman, and was made with a literal dream team. The result? 5 days of dress up and play with friends and a fun take on the various caregiver roles women end up in when in a relationship with a sad boy™.

Last January, Jordana released her debut pop/R&B album with jazz influences, Small Capitals. Her album release show had its venue bursting at its seams with a turnout exceeding the max capacity of the venue by 400% (oops!) Selections from her album garnered the interest of Warner Brothers, Sony, and Universal Music on the publishing side. She recently signed with Max Music Publishing for her songwriting.

With the release of Small Capitals, Jordana continues to win the hearts of listeners by taking them with her on a colorful, emotional, poetic journey with a whole lot of soul…her new single Locked Up is no exception. It's a funky dance bop summing up the narrative of feeling like you're a prisoner of your own mind (thnx anxiety!) Being "locked up" and forced to look inward is something everyone can relate to right now, and Locked Up reasons that being stuck with yourself is a cause for celebration.

Locked Up’s music video, a female helmed project shot entirely on 16mm film, is currently out on VEVO.

Jordana’s most recent heartfelt single, And Another One Opens, a ballad charged with purpose and hope, has been well received, securing several placements on pop playlists and surpassing 20k streams in its first month. Jordana wrote this song just a few hours after being one of the 32,000 Disney cast members to be affected by the layoffs due to the pandemic. Her 6 years making magic as a character performer at the happiest place on earth officially ended on December 4, 2020, the day she released the single as a tribute to her Disney family, and to everyone affected by unprecedented loss during this time. It’s a song about trusting what comes after goodbye. “I hope it provides some hope and catharsis - it certainly has for me.”

The music video for “change of pace,” the first single off of the EP featuring the up and coming artist Merch, was shot in 16mm with a female helmed team. We froze our butts off in Topanga canyon in the middle of the night, but we sure as heck hid it well!

Jordana has always been a fan of holiday music. Her only qualm with it has been the underrepresentation of Hannukah. “Yes, I see you Adam Sandler and ILY but…where are the Hannukah bops at?! Like where is our Ariana Grande yummy warm crispy pop but make it Jewish?! So this year, I decided to do something about it” Jordana says in an interview with Young Entertainment Magazine about the EP, Jordana’s obsession with Rachel Bloom, and working with Larry Saperstein on the music video for one of the songs on the EP, “Xmas Fomo.”

“Jordana Lilly creates an instant holiday classic with her new song “Santa Hour”. The music is fun and festive, with a bright feel that works to perfection in the music.

Jordana released this smorgasbord of original holiday bops on December 4th. The music video for “Xmas Fomo,” the comedy leaning song about being a lonely Jew on Christmas Eve, is out on VEVO.

LA TOUR!

While Jordana has been cooking up lots of new tunes & visuals, she’s been touring her released and unreleased music around Los Angeles with her BFF - they sing backup for each other and it’s super wholesome and just an overall blast! Jordana’s an R&B/pop vibe and Maddi’s indie rock mood - which makes for a pretty unique show that’s fresh, funky, and has something for everyone! They’ve been touring around (they’ve played 11 shows over the past few months!) at venues such as The Mint, the Viper Room, and the Federal and have been collecting fans, friends, and good times on the way!
